The sport boat yard Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH has been building sailboats and motorboats in Giebelstadt, Germany, since 1978. By now, as many as 1,500 new boats leave the Bavarian yard every year. To date, more than 30,000 yachts have left the dock of one of Europe's largest yacht builders.

The construction:
Every Bavaria sailing yacht shows a solid balance of sturdy wood and resilient laminate. Teak, mahogany, walnut, chestnut, oak or Ocean Line are used. Alongside individuality, they are meant to create a feel-good atmosphere.

The hull:
The deck and hull of a BAVARIA sailing yacht are designed as a sandwich construction with foam cores. Wherever fittings are needed, they are backed with aluminum plates.
On the exterior, isophthalic resins are used in lamination to ensure outstanding quality in the hulls. These resins also protect against osmosis and help the boat last a long time.

All Bavaria sailing yachts are built entirely at the German yard. They are built to order only, to give the buyer room for their own wishes and ideas regarding equipment.
